*    The more number of Indian hackers on bug bounty platform Bugcrowd has increased dramatically over recent months, overtaking the US as the number one country for the first time.


*    A new report, ‘Inside the Mind of a Hacker 2020’, was released by Bugcrowd today.

The report analyzed data taken from a survey of 3,493 respondents, and data from 1,549 Bugcrowd vulnerability disclosure programs from May 2019 to April 2020.


*    It found that the number of bug hunters from India grew by 83% from the last  year, cementing the country’s reputation as a world leader in information security research.



Sony Bug Bounty program :

*    Sony launches PlayStation  Sony says it plans to pay security researchers between $100 and up to $50,000   for vulnerability reported in the company's products.


*    The program aim is that which security issues  find out and company developers patches them.


Indian government Bug Bounty Program:



*    Now day's people are saying that  issues on  arogya setu app .It doesn't have any security and any one can take information of patients and contact tracing security also not good.


*    So ,India concerns  has open-sourced its Aarogya Setu contact-tracing app and has announced a bug bounty program (see below) with a top reward of around $4,000.

Facebook Bug Bounty Program:



It is raining bug bounties for Indian ethical hackers and cybersecurity researchers as now day's, an Ahmedabad-based of  security researcher Bipin Jitiya has won Rs 23.8 lakh ($31,500) from Facebook for identifying a bug in its social networking platform, third-party business intelligence portal.



Microsoft Bug Bounty Program:


Microsoft’s offering $100,000 to anyone who can discover vulnerabilities in its software.


Google Bug Bounty Program:
 
Google offered a $1.5 million to whoever could uncover a certain kind of Android bug.
